My Favorite Drugstore Foundation 2015

Have you ever tried a product and thought to yourself "Where have you been all my life?!" Because I have.  More specifically, Maybelline's Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation.

This foundation is LIFE. It was just sitting on the shelf all that time waiting for me to try it out.  It has a serum consistency.  Much more liquid-like than I'm used to. There is a wide variety of shades available, so if you want to try it out, you should have good luck in that department!  I usually struggle because I am extremely fair skinned.  The shade Porcelain Ivory is perfect! This foundation is so easy to blend and looks just like your skin! I don't ever look cakey at all.  It just looks like a better version of my skin!  I have rosacea, so my cheeks and nose are very red. This covers it amazingly! I would say it has medium buildable coverage.  I am not acne prone so can't speak much on how well it covers any pimples you may have, but for my very red face, it does perfectly!

The day I purchased this, I was so ready to get home and try it out! The applicator is not the best. Its a hard teardrop shaped.... thing.  I'm guessing it was meant to act like a dropper? But it doesn't really work out that way.. To apply, I rub the applicator on the top of my clean hand, and dip my brush (or whatever you like to use) in the product on my hand.  I do not recommend rubbing the applicator directly on your face as this could transfer bacteria into the product.  When I first tested it on my hand, after the confusion of the applicator, I just blended it with my finger. It feels like silk! And dries pretty quick! (Not too quickly.. There is still time to blend.) Its definitely a liquid to powder type of thing.  Like magic.  I have combination skin and feel this works well for both types.  It doesn't make me overly oily and also doesn't make me anymore dry.  It is very natural looking, so its not too matte and not too luminous.  I like a bit more of a glowy look than this gives me by itself, but I'm perfectly okay with that because I get to enjoy my Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop highlight, which I will be putting up a review about in the next few days!
